What is the difference between the sports disc and the balance version?
The sports version is 38cm in diameter and 11 cm high. The balance disc is 34cm in diameter and 5.5cm high. The sports disc is more difficult and it will take up to 120kg whereas the balance top will support approximately 80kg.
Is this disc top liable to cause accidents?
What safety measures should be undertaken? This top comes with a comprehensive set of exercises. If you carry out the exercises in line with your personal ability, there is very little risk of accidents. Generally for safety use the top on a non-slip surface, there is a suitable foam mat included. There are also easier tops such as the Sport and Therapy Disc 1277702 or Therapy Top 1373400 . These tops are aimed at beginners and have a gentle tipping movement.
